Taulupe Faletau and all of the Bath Rugby team have started the new Aviva Premiership season with a well-deserved success against the Leicester Tigers. With their impressive victory, they have ended a 14-year losing streak against the opposition.
Although the Tigers took an initial lead, Bath quickly overtook them by the 31-minute mark with a score of 8-14. By half time, Bath had a lead of 8-21.
Things appeared to have taken a turn for the worst in the second half, with the Tigers closing the gap to 16-27 and Bath Rugby losing Matt Garvey to a yellow card for a high tackle. With just 5 minutes left in the game, the Tigers almost managed to catch up but ultimately left Bath triumphant with a final score of 23-27.
